Daybook

Outside my window...
*Fall! Well, Fall-ish, anyway. The temperature is in the 70s rather than the 90s :).

I am thinking...
*That it's so hard to get back to "normal" life after a week at the beach.

I am thankful for...
*Wednesdays--lunch out with the family & church tonight.

From the learning rooms...
*Trying desperately to get back into our school routine--tough after a week off.

From the kitchen...
*Indian food--I used a spice mix to make butter chicken last night and hubby picked up some pre-made naan & gulab jamen--yum!

I am wearing...
*Shorts & my Big on the Pig t-shirt...I will definitely be changing before going out to lunch. Also, my glasses...I'm finding them more and more necessary these days....

I am going...
*To eat Mexican food!

I am reading...
*The Bible
*Otherwise, I'm between books--any ideas?

I am watching...
*Phineas and Ferb

I am hearing...
*The clothes dryer
*Annie the bassett making rude noises

Here is picture for thought I am sharing...

Later Days!

Clever photo!
"Sterkte" (=strongs) with your new school term!
The Indian food sounds yummy. I am into Thai cooking at the moment - have just bought a bottle of fish sauce, but a bit scared to open it. (Read that its made of fermented fish...!)
I simply cannot get used to multifocals - have had them for a year. They're fine for driving, but drives me insane when I try to read, especially the computer! I prefer chain store reading glasses and have them lying all over the house.
Have a "lekker" (nice, good) week!

I didn't recognize the food you ate but I am feeling the same about routine and normal life after vacation (it's tough). When looking out at the ocean I felt smaller than the picture reflects. Clever of E to show just how small a person I am. Ha! Miss you all. Love, Mimi.
