Today,almost 7 weeks after a water leak necessitated our bathroom floor being pulled up, we have a beautiful new floor! Once the flooring guy actually showed up, he was able to get the new flooring down in about an hour :). Later, a couple of men showed up to re-stretch and tack down the carpeting in our master bedroom that had been rolled up during the crisis. We will now begin the process of "moving back in" our closet and bathroom...a feat that I've dreamed about for weeks.
In fact, I warned hubby that I may get in our whirlpool tub and stay there for days--I've really missed that tub! It serves as my personal retreat from the demands of motherhood; some bubbles and a book are like a mini-vacation :).
Off to my vacation....
