It's Me Again....

We're back from my niece's big birthday celebration back home. Now there's another teenager in the family! These whirlwind trips leave us breathless--we try to cram as much time with our families in as we can, and we leave feeling like we didn't see anybody enough! Still, we do what we can and very much enjoy our visits.

Back home means back to work. Much laundry to be done if we're to wear clothes tomorrow--and we ARE going to wear clothes tomorrow, I promise. Pizza delivery provided dinner tonight but I'm going to have to think of something for tomorrow. Kids have to have their "Saturday Night Baths." Menus and lesson plans and grocery lists all have to be planned out. You know, this career as a mother never lacks variety, does it?

I hope everyone has a terrific Lord's Day tomorrow! Drop me a line and brag about what God did!

Later Days!
Kelly

I used to plan a menu a very long time ago. Will you blog sometime about how you do it? Or will you send me an email with tips? Do you do anything special? I know about your Wednesday lunch or supper, but that's all I know.

You know, I'm glad so many people now see your family as you really are. :o)

We (your family back home) enjoy the visits here by your family. We will take each moment with you as precious blessings and time well spent. Mimi

Never a dull moment! Glad you enjoyed your stay with your family. It takes time and effort but it is worth it isn't it? How sad would it be if we had no loved ones?
God has been very good to me this week - it is going well with Tammy and homeschooling and I started swimming again. I swam my 2nd mile (in 2 year's time) today and while I was swimming I just praised God for the beautiful dam in which I could swim (will blog about it sometime) and that I was able and fit enough to swim - and my time was better than it was two years ago, when I had actually trained hard! God willing, I am going down to Kwazulu-Natal on 8 Feb (only 3 weeks away) to swim the "Midmar mile" - as will about 20,000 other swimmers! This is the biggest outdoor swimming event in the world I am led to believe.
Your enthusiasm about going to church is inspiring! Our sermon today was about Matt 8: 1-4 - the healing of a leper. Without love we die living. He is our oxygen. Do other people experience God through me or do I prevent other people from experiencing God's love?
Have a great week.
